Choose the material and head type that best suits your application’s mechanical, environmental, and installation requirements.
A lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and cost-effective solution for general-purpose applications and sealing unused entries in plastic or metal enclosures.
Offers excellent durability with a smooth, dome-shaped head for a clean, aesthetic finish. Ideal for visible installations on control panels and machinery.
Provides maximum durability and allows for easy, high-torque installation and removal with a standard wrench. Perfect for harsh industrial environments.
The best way is to check the equipment’s documentation. If that’s not available, you can use a thread gauge tool to measure the diameter and pitch (for Metric threads) or threads per inch (for NPT/G threads) of the hole. Our team can also assist if you provide the specifications of the enclosure or device.
The integrated O-ring is crucial for achieving a high IP (Ingress Protection) rating, such as IP68. When the screw plug is tightened, the O-ring compresses against the enclosure surface, creating a reliable, liquid-tight, and dust-proof seal. This prevents moisture and contaminants from entering, protecting the sensitive electronics inside.
Choose a metal (Nickel-Plated Brass or Stainless Steel) plug for applications requiring higher mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, or wider temperature ranges. They are ideal for harsh industrial environments, outdoor installations, or where EMC shielding is a concern. Nylon plugs are a cost-effective, lightweight solution for general-purpose indoor applications within standard operating temperatures.
